Google Security Flaw Exploited

“Google Desktop has made the exploit even more dangerous – because it places the results of a desktop search into the output of a regular google search, the exploit now allows the capturing of information from the local computer – okay it’s not much information, but how long is a password or a credit card number?”

Jim Ley (who by strange coincidence lives in the same tiny street that I lived in many years and a couple of thousand miles ago) has some interesting things to say about a Google security exploit. And Jim knows what he is talking about. Worth a read.

[Update] And now there is: phishing with Google.
