My Fifteen Most Useful Possessions

.
This list was harder to write than I originally thought…

1. My brain. Portable, cheap to run, works well, little maintenance required.
2. My cellphones (I have more than one, but I’ll count them all as one).
3. My laptops. Communication is the key to life, no?
4. An EVDO portable modem. Broadband anywhere, all of the time. (At last).
5. A radio.
6. My car/s. Where I live, no transport=going nowhere=insanity.
7. My guard dogs. 100% protection 100% of the time. Anywhere. Fun, too!
8. Mosquito repellents, slow-release plug-ins preferably, but any other type will do, too.
9. A Swiss Army Knife.
10. Any cigarette lighter. Portable fire is good.
11. A torch.
12. A sophisticated satellite TV system. TV from everywhere on the planet. News is good.
13. My wok. I cook just about anything and everything in it, and have done for years. I’d probably starve to death without it.
14. A shaver and a razor. So my face doesn’t disappear.
15. A copy of ‘McGee on food & cooking‘. The greatest, most in-depth, food and nutrition science encyclopedia ever written. (ISBN: 0 340 83149 9).
16. My Caterpillar boots.

Ok, so that’s sixteen, but I got carried away.

I like woks as well, but every time I buy one, it seems to fall apart within a few months. Perhaps I need to invest in one that is not made in China. I’ve seen some Japanese-made woks that are kind of pricey. (60-70 range).

What do you suggest?
