On Being Born In New York And Joining The Navy

Fresh in from the latest episode of ‘I have some really strange dreams sometimes’ is this;

In Dreamland, I had just recently joined the Royal Navy and was telling, in quite some detail, a fellow new recruit that I was born in New York, not England, which for some reason seemed to take an awfully long time to explain. There was also some added confusion as despite having joined the Navy I still appeared to be living at home, where one morning I was explaining to my girlfriend that I was feeling quite concerned about my job in the Navy as I could not remember at what time I was supposed to start work, or even where I was supposed to report to.

I seemed more than a little worried by this situation, worried enough that I woke at that point and the anxious feeling remained with me for a minute or two despite that I was awake and was already fully aware that it had been a dream.

I still feel a little edgy, and I have been awake now for more than an hour.

Strange enough? I would say so.
