F1 Monaco 2008 – Wet, Fun And Expensive?
Things are looking good for a wet race at the Monaco Formula One this weekend.
The weather forecast for Monaco is for severe thunderstorms on both Saturday and Sunday, which has already prompted Jenson Button to say;
“Looking at the forecast, it appears it’s going to be pretty awful and with the white lines going up to Casino Square, if you touch one you’ve a big chance of putting your car into the wall”.
Hamilton has followed that comment up with;
“It will be especially difficult here in the wet, especially this year without traction control. With this circuit being so tight, I think it’s going to be a disaster.”
I predict a great race for spectators, an extremely ‘fun’ race for the drivers and an astronomically expensive race for the constructors.
Just as things should be, then.
Now we just need to hope that it does not get so fun and expensive that it gets stopped half-way through.
