The Rogi Lifeblog Project
The Rogi Lifeblog Project is something that I have been curious about doing for a while.
The central idea of it is to record my life, or at least small slices of it, each and every day. Mostly via small image captures using only a Nokia N70 [update Sept. ’08: I am now using a Nokia N95) cellphone. I introduced the ‘only one cellphone’ idea as firstly that keeps things simple as the phone is always with me, and secondly it encourages me to put my professional photographer hat to one side and simply take ‘snaps’ just the same as everyone else does.
After years of professional cameras and studio or carefully captured photographs, taking ‘snaps’ with a cellphone is an entirely different thing and this introduces a lot more fun into the whole project for me, I can tell you.
The images I take for the project will from today onwards all live in a dedicated lifeblog gallery here. Any weblog posts that are ‘lifeblog-related’ already have their own place on the site in a dedicated category.
Pretty organised, no?
So, basically, that is what the Lifeblog Project references that you will from now on see even more of around the site are all about.
