TumblWeed Desktop App For Tumblr
I use Tumblr for various projects and have just been looking around to see what the latest state of play is with regards to desktop publishing apps that will work with Tumblr.
There are quite a few apps around and most seem like they will do the job well, but the one that really caught my eye was the latest version of Tumblweed.
Here’s the blurb from the Tumblweed website;
“Tumblweed is a desktop client for the wonderful Tumblr
service which allows users to view posts and create new ones from their
desktop. Tumblweed supports most features on Tumblr as well as allowing
photos posts from webcams, clipboards, or drag-and-dropping.”
I now have it installed on this Mac laptop and it really does do what it says on the tin.
If you use Tumblr to any great degree I recommend that you have a look for yourself. It is an Adobe Air application, so it will will run on Windows too, should you be that way inclined.
