Thirteen point six kilometers.

Life is sweet.

Here is a quick phonecam video made yesterday morning at Praia do Trafal, Algarve, Portugal.

This is the beach that is about fifteen minutes walk along the sand from Praia do Almargem. The town that can be seen in the distance is Quarteira.

For those who asked, I really have no idea as to how busy either of these beaches get during the summer. I’ll no doubt find out when the time comes.

This post is a follow-on from this Praia do Almargem post earlier today.

The last part of the road to the beach has maintenance trucks all over, so in the end I went to Praia do Trafal and walked along the beach to Praia do Almargem. It’s not far, maybe a kilometer or so.

To be indoors today would be a weather-crime, so I’m going to Praia do Almargem beach, about 30 minutes away from me here in the Algarve, to have a look around.

I have never been to this beach before, so it should be interesting.

It looks quite interesting on Google Earth as it appears to be a fluvial beach. We shall see. Here is a Google Earth .kmz file if you want to see for yourself:
