I have two predictions open on this, firstly ’The stick: Obama uses the US Navy: mixed results‘, and, secondly, ‘Non-US ship plays a major role to settle matters‘.
As usual, only time will tell.

I have predicted h$5000 at 58.71% that President Obama and President Ahmadinejad do not meet at all in 2009.
As I post this I am down h$1985, but time is on my side and I am pretty confident that my prediction will turn out to be correct.
We’ll see.
I think the job of figuring out if President George W. Bush was right or wrong, good or bad, or a bit of all of those things is probably best left to the historians and political analysts of the future.
One thing that he certainly can never be accused of though is to have been lacking in either global impact or controversy.

A medium-term Hubdub prediction to pass these dead days inbetween Christmas and the New Year.

Not the most exciting prediction* to make, but it seems to me to be a pretty good bet that at least one of the US newspapers will hit a wall before July next year, so I have predicted h$200 at 35.65% that one will.

As I type, the odds are 67% on that Guantanamo will close in 2009. However, I personally doubt that Obama will be able to close it down that quickly, and so my bet, of H$250 at 32.15%, is that it will finally close in 2010.
As usual, only time will tell.
