Cooling Down

Saturday, August 30th, 2008

It seems that the most brutal of the summer temperatures are coming to an end here in the Algarve, with the present temperature sitting at 26ºC and a forecast high today of 28ºC.

This may not sound too cool but compared to the past few months, when 35ºC+ has been the norm, I can tell you that this feels a whole lot more comfortable.

Soon enough the temperatures at night here will plummet down to around 13-15ºC, this is something that always happens around the beginning of October, and then things will go from being comfortable to feeling downright cold, but we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it.
