Web: Portuguese Recipe Blog

Friday, November 27th, 2009

Just a quick pointer to an excellent foody blog featuring Portuguese recipes:

–> As Minhas Receitas. (Portuguese language only).

It’s written by a lady who lives not far from me, and she posts up seriously nice recipes that are not difficult to make, or to find the ingredients for.

A great resource for foodies and cooks, especially at this time of the year.

WordPress 2.7 – Exploit-IFrame.gen.c

Tuesday, February 10th, 2009

There appears to be an exploit for WordPress 2.7.

Vague details of Exploit-IFrame.gen.c are here [update: and here].

There is also an upgrade for Wordpress 2.7 out this evening, taking it to version 2.7.1.

I’m not sure the upgrade is in response to the apparent exploit, though, as both became public at about the same time.

The Tao Of Mac, and Netcipia

Friday, November 3rd, 2006

Of interest over morning coffee (yesterday morning coffee, as I forgot to post this until now) is not only the incredible amount of rain coming down outside here in the ‘always sunny Algarve’, but also The Tao Of Mac as Rui turns out to live in Portugal and posts a lot of useful Mac and other tech info.

Another thing spotted on my radar is Netcipia. A wiki/weblog/collaborative hosting company offering 2Gb of ad-free space on their Xwiki servers for nothing. Might be useful for future projects.

Work Is A Crime

Wednesday, August 3rd, 2005

Isn’t being this busy in midsummer a crime? It should be…

Anyway, if you are looking for something good to read, you can always try Vitriolica. Always interesting, always beautiful illustrations, and she’s also a fellow member of the Brit ex-pat in Portugal cabal.

As for me: back soon!

Vali: Black Labrador

So, here we go: the Vali weblog goes public.

It’s not quite ready yet, really, but I already love it, and him, and I’m sure that you will too.
