Portugal Life: Loulé At Night

A quick note to point to a new series of ten or so photographs that I have just posted to my Portugal Life photoblog.

This latest series starts here and ends here.

All of the images were shot in Loulé this evening.

UK Photographer’s Bust Card

December 4th, 2009

A bust card is available for photographers in the UK who may be stopped and searched, or even detained, under section 44 of the Terrorism Act 2000.

“The card has been compiled by photographers with many years experience dealing with the police and stops and searches as well as legal advice from lawyer Anna Mazzola who specialises in public law, human rights, actions against the police and other detaining authorities.”

You can download it from the ‘I am a photographer, not a terrorist‘ website, or to save them some bandwidth feel free to download it from me directly by clicking on this link: UK Photog Bust Card (64k .pdf).

Either way, be sure to read further details regarding the card on this bust card page and also to read the comments on that page as they contain further useful unformation.

Photo Sites: Minimodi & City Snaps

December 3rd, 2009

A couple of great photoblogs I have found recently:

The first is Minimodi from Gothenburg, Sweden. Varied subjects, consistently high quality. Click on each image to go to the following image.

The second is City Snaps from San Francisico. Mostly urban work, also of consistently high quality. A great example is this; Hanging Around, which is very nearly a perfect black and white shot, in my opinion.

There are far too many images between the two for me to possibly point out all of my personal favourites – so grab a coffee, sit back, and go see for yourself.
